here is elaine which will now be called laney cuz i like to end most names in y if possible. informal approach. this is laney (997) on day 6 at 16" circ. hard to measure the long small ones at this stage, but i have to keep track of daily growths on this plant so i know which ones abort or keep growing. come on laney and please be the one. very late at a july 15th pollination and the main is snipped right at the pumpkin. but i need all the pumpkins i can get to have something make it to the show. seeing they are all staggered from june 23 to this one on july 15th, i hope to have some better odds at bringing one of these fish into the boat and on the scale. if laney aborts, the plant becomes a halloweenie plant with as many pop up tert pumpkins it wants to throw in its allotted space.
