20 day mark this morning on georgie(1041) at 5:30 am was 89.5" circ. it is back on the 5" a day range which makes more sense going on day 20. hopes for 30 day mark would then be anything over 128 which is awesome. good news bad news on the 997. bad first is the 24' aborted like i thought it was doing. good news is the 31' at 6 days is 16" and might give me a fourth chance this year to get my pb if it doesn't abort like every other one on the plant so far. if it can hang on it has 600 sq ft of killer plant with a stump as wide as a softball. today i will get the batteries after work and get some pics of all 4 kins and the massive 997 stump. if this 997 x 1041 cross comes through, i might be breeding the biggest leaved and stumped salad with plant(997) with a fast producing fruit and not so hot to start with salad plant(1041). the combo might be nice. or it could be a dud. "ya never know. even when you think you know, ya never know"...from the movie "let it ride" when trotter meets of this the race fixers after the first race of a very good day.
