We had a good all day rain today, but only about a half inch in accumulation.
Took a drive up to Peterborough area yesterday and had a visit with Gery Cavanagh and his wife, and then over the Kirk Chenier and his wife. Also in attendance for the mini tour were Phil Joynson and the Pres., Phil Hunt and his lovely wife Jane! The Chenier's hosted us with a wonderful BBQ supper! Now it's a little cooler back there and the pumpkins are a little behind us southerners, but these two guys are going to be a force! Immaculate patches and amazing looking plants. The cool nights make for late pollinations, but these guys have beautiful loamy soil and the plants are pumpkin factories!
