My pumpkin is growing great so far. At day 11 it is 41 inches in circumferance, 31 inches long and 32 inches wide, total OTT is 104 inches ( about 30 pounds). It has averaged 6 pounds a day over the last two days. I hope it keeps up the good pace. I will fertilize and spray for bugs tomorrow and cut off all remaining pumpkins. I will also erect a larger shade structure because the pumpkin is already out growing the patio chair I placed over the top of it. I hope I can manage to keep stem stress at bay until the pumpkin gets to atleast 300 pounds. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
