hind sight is 20/20. eventhough i didn't have a lot of plant behind a 12' female due a lot of stunted secondaries, i still should have allowed that female at 12' to have let it matured and pollinated it knowing that the plant in a 7 day period would catch up to pollination time. so this mornin i pollinated the 1041 at 16' with 6 male 1041 flowers, but the problem was the female was a 5 lober (i think) scrambled eggs blossom. i still put a fan and frozen bottle next to it as it hit the high 80s and close to 90 degrees today. the next one down the line is deep in the cluster and will be at about 21' in about 9 days or about the 10th of july. oh well, live and learn. the 1446 was at 17 inches at 8 days, and based on past experience i would bet it to be 20 tomorrow and maybe 24 on 10 days. not bad with the record low set at the joliet airport today at 50 degrees and 3 nights prior in the low 50s. the 1306 still looks good and is growing at 3 days old and hopefully the 997 took as well. i put a big ass detergent bottle full of ice next to it today as well hoping she will take. tomorrow the fan on the 1041 will be left in place along with another ice bottle and the 1306 and the 997 will have ice bottles next to them too as it might hit 90 tomorrow. i really need them 3 to take completely. cool temps on the horizon after tomorrow and all the next ones down the line will be pollinated for insurance.
