A side vine took over for the new main but is dont seem to be growing at the rate the other did so maybe the plant thinks its pumpkin time. The 1149 pukos is an amazing plant. It is by far the biggest plant that I have grown. Right now the plant is close to 30ft. est in length with all the sidevines terminated except 2 on each side behind the first pumpkin set on main. So that means the plant is 30ft wide by 30 ft. long. Was wondering though How longt do most you guys leave bumper fruit on. Should I wait until the pumpkins get 50 to 60 pounds before making the choices. I should have Two on the main and a Pumpkin set way out on a side vine to choose from. Email me at [email protected]
Thank You,
Jon N.
