Starting to work with a female and shaping the vine at about 11 feet on the 1388 LaRue. If this turns out to be the one. I would have about 8 sides vines on each side pre-pumpkin. However, there looks to be a better one at the next node and looks like a better potential position. I think this is my favorite part of season. It is always a pretty good challenge to get the fruit set and vine positions just right. I usually end up doing something dumb and obsessive right about now...
