Plants are into full gear now my first 2 male flowers opened up this morning on the 1100 Hester I have females showing on all 4 plants. Tomorrow my electric fence goes up along with my number 2 windbreak fence. I also have alot of weeding to do. I must stay on top of this as I have made the choice to keep all side vines. I was told the more roots in front of the pumpkin the better. I also did a huge application of fish and water soluable mycorrhizae. I saw my first squash vine borer moth about a week ago so I figure I will hit the plants hard with spray about Tuesday. I want to set fruit out alot farther than in the past I am hoping for 15 feet out at least. I will have photos tomorrow.
