well a depressing morning here, had 2 plants left in the hill of 449 rivington plants and the bigger plant had a stem split right at the top of the stump where the main was coming out of. then i looked underneath the vine and the bottom was split perpendicular to the vine so i cut her.
now all i have is a smaller plant next to it, maybe 3 days behind the one i pulled.
actually the one i kept was smaller but had better spacing for my garden and the vine looks like it is pointed in a better line to where i want it to go.
pretty sad.
