Monday's storms ripped up the cloche for the 1033 Emmons and broke the plant off at the base. This messes up some of the plans I had for on ongoing genetics project. It also means one less weighoff entry this fall. All plants are still small and shrubby with no vines running yet. This spring has been miserable. So far in June we've set records most days with the lowest daytime high temperatures on record. Add our normal cool nights and wind and rain and I figure I should just stick to cabbage.
