The really bad news! The main vine has split about 12 inches after the pumpkin so were really really hoping that this fruit sets! The male flowers were limited on the 1188 anyway, could only reach one fresh one without walking over the plant so i also used 963 males. Im not bothered about keeping seeds anyway. So the plan now is to cut the main vine off immedietly after the pumpkin and train the next vine back as the new main vine. Shame this plant was going really well up to now. Note the bee, just doing his bit to help.
