Here's my 1290 Poirier. The new pollination is covered with a small deck table and cotton sheet on top. It looked like a million dollars in April, but May was rough on her. We had lousy weather here in May and my early plants had already outgrown their hothouses. They were thrown to the elements - below normal temps, high winds, little sun and to much cold rain. We've had a couple of nice days to start June. The plants really appreciate it and are responding.
