My dad's garden is lost due to frost. He risked it by not covering things up for one night and lost most of his crop, including 2 of his 926.5 Finn pumpkin plants. He has a back up plant and will put it in the dirt. Depressing for sure. He has back up of most items that he had in the garden, just sad to loose that much work and have to restart.
I had to cover up tomatoes and peppers last night just as precaution, got down to 42, and didn't want to chance it after listening to my dad. All are doing fine.
Will have to make the final cuts on double plantings soon in the hoop houses. It certainly has been a cold May.
