Bad news in the greenhouse today. I lost the 1093 Hunt, my main competition plant. Last week the main stem under the cots split open. This week the main vine broke in two. I had to pull it this morning.

Because this particular plant had no backup, I dug up the 1234 Wursten 07* and transplanted it into the greenhouse. It was still small enough to transplant.

I transplanted the 1018 Van Hook (1450 Wallace x self) into the 1234* patch which is my best outside patch. The 1018 was the only pumpkin plant small enough to still transplant.

Patch one:
1256 Wursten (greenhouse)
1234 Wursten* (greenhouse)
1018 Van Hook (mini greenhouse)
824 Brunst* (genetics)

Patch two:
1378 Pitura (best plant)
1297 Ghaye

Patch three:
893 Privitera

Three nights of frost here. All of the plants are doing well, although the 1018 which was planted last is lagging behind. Hopefully in its new mini greenhouse it will catch up.
