Obligatory young plant in hoophouse pic, showing the longer hoops this year and the 55 gallon water filled barrel I'm using as solar heat sinks to help with night time temperatures. (thanks J.D.)
So far the 1041 McKie appears the most aggressive plant, others are older and bigger but at this point, day for day, the 1041 leads the pack, for what it's worth at this early stage.
Even with the cooler than normal temps, sunny days, and my climbing electric bill due to the inground cables and the milkhouse heaters I think the plants are ahead of last year.
