This is what I have made to turn the water on for the mist kit. It's a lever type tap attached to a ram from a greenhouse vent opener, so as the air temperature gets hotter the ram expands and opens the tap. It works well - if a cloud floats over it's not long before the tap turns off. I find it very handy as I'm at work all day and don't have to worry so much about my plants scorching.
