This is my husbands pumpkin that he started on April 7th. It stayed in a large pot until yesterday. Big mistake!! The roots where all the way to the bottom of the 17 inch tall pot. You can see where the cots where damaged by our cat. Hungry I guess. This one he did not kill but I do think he broke mine. We bought this seed on line at giantpumpkinsonline.com. This is what it said about it. 1182 Parenty 07
1347 Wallace x 1502 Wallace
This pumpkin was growing at a 1400 lb pace before it developed a crack on August 22, 2007. The 1502 Wallace cross should make this a real contender for 2008.
I hope it does good for us but I still want to grow the biggest pumpkin for my grandson.
