The plants are well protected above and below the ground. I have carefully planted them in the containers I started them in. These containers will naturally break down in about 30 days. Additionally, by using this mechanism I did not have to worry about disturbing the delicate root structures that are just now starting to form.
The picture that I am providing here is an overview of my entire patch.
