Took a soil sample today..will send it away Monday. Finally got into the farm on Wednesday (April 16). Ground is still very wet in low lying areas. Dug down about 8" to get the sample and hit water. Soil appears to be muddy, clay where I want the patch to be, but I'm curious to see how fast it dries up. Going to start practising germination tomorrow.
