Finally got patch ready with about a month to settle down prior to planting.

Dug over lots, added the following:

1/2 dustbin full of wood ash mainly beech and oak
6kg of calcified sea weed
20 bags of rotted oak/maple leaves
box of blood fish and bone,
Dug over again.

Finally added approx 800kg of well rotted horse manure.

levelled it.

(need to get a rotorvator!!!)
