NOVEMBER 20th - Had a couple buddies come over today and Help remove a large limb from the big maple in my backyard. It blocks a lot of sunlight from reaching the patch. This one was over our sun room and posed a thread if a big storm knocked it down. A couple other branches pose similar Threats. In the end, I hope to only have branches up very high in the canopy so afternoon and evening sun will come in over the roof and make it to the patch.
The quote I received for removing the other branches was $180. I will definitely get that done prior to the 2008 season starting.
