I have some sad news. Prepare yourself because it is not going to be pretty. (deep breath) The 1260 Dawson seed is (weep, weep) gone to pumpkin seed heaven. My husband seems reluctant to give it a proper burial although I do have a little sad speech and a cotton lined paper box to bury it in. Frankly, I am annoyed at his lack of sensitivity.
And you would think that its little pumpkin seed friends would at least stand still and quit growing for a second in mourning.... but no.... the 1327 and the 1187 are just shooting up... over 5 inches now with the secondary leaves definitely forming.
I may, in punishment turn off the heating pad today to teach them to show respect to other family members.
