I was trying to find a way to measure small late season growth. I rigged up an old dial indicator that I dont use anymore from my machinists tool box. And it works great. I can tell that my fruit is still expanding even in super tiny increments as it did grow last night. I am glad to see it still doing something only a week away from Topsfield and with my leaves in very tough shape at this time due to 2 nights of frost. Here is a look at this simple primative but effective device.
