The pumpkin on my 434 continues to grow very slowly so I am leaving it on the vine. The vine seems very healthy but there aren't many leaves left. I found some soft spots in the stem and scraped them and coated it with pure Daconil. It seemed to be better today but not fully dry yet. Ben and I taped the pumpkin at 483 lbs. on Saturday. I don't remember all the measurements but the circ. was 120 inches. He said he'd never seen a pumpkin with such smooth and shiney skin. I made sure to take this pic in broad daylight so no trick photography on the orange color.
