i tell ye, i will try to never grow any pumpkin plant if i can help it without the fencing around it seen here as a windbreak. I saw it at a landscaping place in a pile and was smart enough to ask about it and keep after it and eventually get 13 pieces 8' X 6'...nice deal, too, but had to start paying retail @ $22.95 each once the used stuff was all put-up. i love the stuff. it is like a head-start on the protection of the plants from the moment it is nearby.
doesn't help with the weeds but makes it LOOK like somebody knows how to treat a la....errr, plant. ha ha
well, here's a pic from the the blossom end of my
(at that time) biggest fruit.
