I finally broke open the 469 Buchsieb 07. I estimate I got 200 seeds from it. The walls were 6" thick at the stem and 4" at the blossom end. There were a few cracks on the inside and where perpendicular to the ribbing. No risk of them getting to the outside.
I did some reading up on humidity and found that it has a significant effect upon yield. I can now see where our 15% humidity can draw water away from the fruit while it is growing. There are plans in the works for next year to overcome this.
