Day 53 has come for "Wilbour" and it is day to day. Recieved over 5" of rain on the weekend and the thought had crossed my mind to harvest him to avoid any possible surge and splits. Taking the advice of a friend I will leave him on the vine and pray like hell (if that is possible) that he survives for a while longer.
Currently the rain has pushed him back up to 2" per day circumference and he is turning orange rather nicely as well about 60% now of the fruit has cantalouped as seen in the pic. He is currently at 131 circ. with an ott of 299 or 540lbs.
