Ground was finally broken today and the first till ever was completed using a big Troy-Bilt Horse. This is 2,700 square feet. I will let this warm up for two days or so, then till even deeper. After that, 3 single axle loads of mushroom compost and 1,000 lbs. pelletized gypsum will be added and spread. Then the whole thing gets one more good till and that is it since it's so late already. It will have a month to sit before season #1 for this plot begins in early May.
