for those of you concerned with whether or not your Mycorrhizae still works, here is once again my Gerry Germ-Buck set up: http://bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=17908 which, when active and has Mycorrhizae (in this case, Bio-Grow Endo-Plus from Joel Holland) mixed into the seed starting mix at one half cup or so per average-sized bag of SS mix plus 3/4 gallon of water, produces the fuzzy-white and welcome sight of Myco growing on top of the mix in my 4-inch peat pots. TWO pots have Myco and two do not. no one has to be this elaborate to see it work, but the SS mix does get to be a nice 95 degrees or so in the Germ-Buck. the Myco typically "sprouts" or "sporates" or whatever in about 24-48 hours noticeably. i would guess that a small amount in a small test would indicate that it is still good, those of you that have it in cold storage and are wondering. eric g
