Here is one of the soil samples taken in December 2006. This is what I have to start with. I suspect Iron and Manganese contamination during the sampling process. These levels spiked last year too and I was growing in a different state then. I'm hoping that regardless of what I ammend the soil with before planting, the simple fact that I am Fusarium free will push me to a new personal best this season. I will do my best to document each step in patch development accurately. I am currently waiting for weather cooperation, which could take until spring for all I know. Well that's life.
