You can't imagine a happier grower when I finally dug my shovel into the new yard for the first time and found this loam soil. 9 inches down and not a single rock. That's what generations of Mennanite farming will do for you I guess. I live smack in the middle of PA Dutch land and 10 minutes from the Rodale Institute. I've been up and down about the 2007 season in this new plot but I'm optomistic now baby! Now, if I could just quit spending money on seeds I don't need :)
