Well day 30 is here for "Wilbour" and he is humming right along, You guys up north might have thought all was lost but not quite, I'm quite a fighter and despite two near fatal damages things are on track as shown in the chart.
The estimate for "Wilbour" taken from his growth habits puts him at (come weigh-off) around 700lbs which hopefully takes first, second or third at the smoky lake weigh off.
As well if the last month of my pouring over every little scrap of info I could get to come up with my end of season weigh-off estimates are correct I will as well take the honors of having the largest pumpkin ever grown in Saskatchewan.
With the warm weather for the next seven days I hope it puts him over his estimates. As you can see he did fall a smidge off around Aug. 7 but since has come back on track and looks like he might just surpass it.
Fingers crossed...
Being a first time grower and living in Sask. This would be a real feat.
Will get some updated photo's tommorow as he is resting now.
