A quick update, on the 700 Paynter. I have 3 pumpkins set and growing the one on the main vine continues to grow but slowly at about 1" per day, haven't measured in a few days will today as it is day 20 it would probably be around 30" to 33" circumference. The other two are about the size of a melon and will cull these shortly.

My daughters plant with pork chop continues to grow but again slowly haven't even a guess as to size I am leaving this plant alone and letting her care for it as she has to be the one that grew it for the weigh-off. I do put the fert in the watering can for her and she adds water then gives it to the plant. Just wish she could carry a bigger watering can as the last feeding on the weekend took 2 hours to do on a 66 sq. ft. plant. I know slow and steady wins the race but this is ridiculous, I can't get beat by a three year old though I would never live it down.

No pic's in the next little while, loaned the digital camera to the in-laws for their three week vacation.
