I made another stupid rookie mistake and forgot to cut the tap roots on both the 781 pumpkins until yesterday; they were pinned down and look what happened. I don't have enough experience to tell whether they'll make it. Yesterday's CC's 781 day 12 = 33" and the other 781 day 11 = 35". I also observed a mass hatching of the squash bug nymphs so I sprayed with Triazicide again today @ 4 tsp per gallon. I hope it dried since it rained last evening.
