Are these SVB eggs? Or squash bugs? I haven't seen any SVB in the patch except for one I thought over a month ago. Squash bugs though, I've seen plenty of them for this time of year. Caring for the patch is starting to take its toll on me. I wish all the plants were mulched like my squash is. The work is endless. Plus I've been up at the butt crack of dawn every day this week on my week off. I'll be glad when pollination is done! Tomorrow's linup for pollination: 1230 delatas secondary, 2 x 781 Frantz one on each of the new mains. 669 Muller at aprox 15 feet. All will be crossed with the 603 Muller which fortunately has no shortage of male flowers. Each gets two males each. The 603 is starting to show some concerning yellow coloration in the leaves. I'm thinking of fertilizing again- I don't know what to do. None of the plants have had any ferts in 2 weeks or more for pollination reasons. But I feel like I need to pick up the pace again, now that I'm more comfortable with the number of females that have been showing. Any help would be great.
