663* Andrews today. Sorry for the dark pic. I tried mulching with grass in this garden and it's worked great- very little weeding required. Next year I'll use it on the whole big patch provided I can get a grass catcher. My neighbor has been giving me his clippings. This plant is maybe 7 feet long and has thick secondaries. Overall it is more compact than the plants in the other patch. I don't know if that's desirable or not. It is in unammended soil and eats only chemicals. We've got some great rain here with more to come, just too bad it was for the weekend. All plants are doing well, even the 317 now and the owl seems to have worked for now. Photo shoot for the other patch is tomorrow.
