Sorry if there's 2 entries. As of today all of my plants have gotten the by-hand weed treatment. This weekend I'll fertilize with 10-10-10 again. All the plants seem to like the heat. This is strange to me since I've been told the 603 doesn't like it above 90° and I have one, plus two selfed going. Cucumber beetles and other bugs are dying at a fast pace. I havn't seen a groundhog or any damage to the plants since I put up the fake owl with rotating head. I hope this works cause the fam doesn't want me to kill it! The plants are growing exponentially; roots at every node, male flowers blooming, female on the 603 will open either tomorrow or Saturday but only about 7 feet out. I can't wait to pollinate; hopefully in late June or during the week of July 4th, which I took off for just to do what I love- grow big and drink cheap beer LOL!~!
