648 Bhaskaran and 932 Willemse have broken ground. 317 Lawrence, 481 George and 861 Fredricks poking thru now. These 3 seeds will go in the ground.
Starting 1st main batch for 2006 today. Going with 1230 Delatas, 781.5 Frantz and 603.5 Muller. My efforts to germinate have been less than desirable thus far, this is my first season of giving a crap. Inconsistant. Filed edges and scuffed the body of these seeds real good this time, and soaked in warm water. Will put into paper towel/ ziplock after 45 min. 11 pm 25Apr06 will be the time when they go in the bag.
My current setup is a theraputic heating pad set to low, with a small folded hand towel on top, and a shirt covering the ziplock bag.
Thanks to all of my friends for the generous seed trades/ hookups. I hope I don't trash these seeds. I have backups for each except the 1230. Hopefully by the end of this season Maryland will be known for more than just running its mouth lol wish me luck! More seeds to follow.
