Last years pumpkins were always destined to be hollowed out and launched if they were big enough. Our plan was to make as much money as possible for the Jubilee sailing trust & Children in need. So armed with TV cameras and the local news reporters, we set of to the local puddle. This is we think, a first for the UK so it was with great trepidation that we launched the PVC's(personal vegtable craft). To our releif they both floated perfectly and the crews and spectators got together for the naming ceremony. With the bubbly cork popping the pumpkins were named Boris and Fred, (dont ask).
