You know what is really a pain in the A? Trying to decide which seeds to go with. I have a lot of seeds now, many are great crosses. Each grower wants their seed in the ground but which to choose?

You don't want to plant the really good ones, because maybe in the fall I might have something to trade. But you do want to plant the really good ones, so you grow a great pumpkin this year. But what if I'm wasting the good seed since I'm not ready for it and my soil sucks?

Speaking of soil, I think I finally have my window of opportunity this Saturday. Only light showers in the forcast tomorrow, so the ground should be dry.

I hope to get at least 4 more bed-loads of manure on the patch, either that or a dump truck load or two. Peace.
