This entry to the diary is a hard one to type. I definately bit off more than I could chew this year with 4 plants. My plan to plant them and just let them grow did not happen, I have been putting in 100%. This has impacted on other areas in my life a lot, and something had to give. I made the difficult decision to pull the plants today. One at a time they were ripped out. Very hard to do when they are looking so good. I got to the last plant and decided to leave it in, the 1260. Time was short, and still is, however I've been ignoring that fact and worked late into the night, each and every night. Lack of sleep and priority caused a crisis. As much as I enjoy growing AG pumpkins, there are other areas that need my effort first. Lesson learnt. One plant left I'm sure I can grow a good one on it and achieve my original purpose, which was to have a photo taken with Alex sitting on top. I will continue to update the diary. Ben
