Just thought I'd sneak in a pic of Alex now over 5 months old :) Starting to crawl already, look out!
Also a patch report! Last 2 days have been very cold and overcast with a gusty southerly blowing up to 40mph. Slowed down growth bigtime plus lots of badly folded leaves, but only one completely snapped off. Overall still looking good!
The 35 Gerry is really taking off, main out 6 foot, showing very yellow female buds! Biggest leaf now around 16"!
The 1260.4 Weir is looking awesome still and very big. Copped the wind badly on the huge leaves. Only one female on the main spotted about 4 days away, about 10 foot out. Have only noticed 3 altogether on all the vines so far....
The 1097.5 Beachy got a beating too in the wind, but is in good shape, will be a female on the main at 12 foot in about 3 days, another lined up. Small leaved plant, but very solid. Another seedy blossom found on a sidevine this morning.
The 753 Lloyd is huge, have deadended quite a few secondarys already, vines only 8 foot off the main. Main vine now out 18 foot, 3 more prospects lined up on the main, total 5 now spotted!
Keeping up with my nightly foliar spraying, 6 day cycle as described earlier. Taking a while now, time to plumb in the dosatron soon. Also need to symbex/companion drench and mulch. Time is short, working in the garden by torchlight every night....
