And, the larger fruit on a secondary of the 803 plant. This fruit was gaining at a great rate and then the squirrel issue basically cut the growth rate by 75% per day. With the amount of damage on the vine leading to the fruit and the damage on the main vine before the fruit, I'm amazed that it is still growing at all.

I trapped and re-located a total of 9 squirrels in 4 days. Just recently a new one showed up so out went the trap. I will not wait so long next year.....these things are dumb as cows (no offence to any dairy or cattle farmers)and really easy to catch.

Each year there has been a learning curve, I just may get it right again some year soon!!
