The other half of the sideyard plot - a volunteer watermelon (1 seed).
To give an idea of the significance - the sideyard is 50 feet long by 5 ft wide. The Perez was planted 10 ft from the western end. A volunteer watermelon (sugar baby sized yellow) started 10 ft from the eastern end. These plants are now mingling in the middle and it is only 18 July!!!! - I have a problem on my hands.
