Finally got around to starting my diary, to update I am using Paynter seeds. Germinated 753 Paynter stem end seed on the 19th of April planted out doors in mini-greenhouse 10 days later. What a super seed growing faster than the weeds. Spring is cold here in Western Canada and wind is brutal, May 13th seen gusts up to 90km/h and yes the death of the 753 Paynter even under shelter and with heater, but the wind shifted the greenhouse decapitating the plant at the ground. First year grower here and I almost broke down and cried, But I have learned well and picked my self up and brought out my back-up plant the 701 Paynter, planted it, staked the greenhouse down on all corners 3 1/2 feet down and screwed to the base. May 15th seen wind gusts again at 87km/h and temp was +2 degrees, rain turned to snow and got dumped on 15 inches. Lost a tree limb in the other side of the yard to wind, but the greenhouse stands still and the 701 Paynter is adjusting well. The plant only just had it's first true leaf at planting and the picture shows the plant on May 28th. Today hot and calm, Temp +29 degrees, had to mist for three minutes and the plant stopped dropping. Some fert burns on the second true leaf and the cot leafs are turning yellow and dying.
ANY ONE know why (to much water??? (daily)) cut back now to every three days (fertilizer??? (every 4 days, 15-30-15)
The other leafs don't seem to be turning yellow or dying. ??? hmmmm.

Well TTYL
Ernie
