The pumpkin is very symmetrical and round. almost "fish egg" like. The plant has been very aggressive at growing (unwanted) tertiary vines. Even though during the vine burying process these vines were thought to be pruned it seems that many were missed. In actuality, the tertiary vines have been slow to develop overall, so at time of burying there was nothing to pinch and now they have developed and are popping up very frequently.
