Did you know it's possible to cross pollinate between turks turban winter squash and dills atlantic giant pumpkins? If not, don't feel bad because apparently I didn't know either lol

I like to grow a turks turban every year, I typically just reuse the seeds from the previous seasons squash but it would seem that something has gone awry with this years seeds. Last year I planted my turks turban and 2702 cutrupi plants back-to-back and it would seem that the bees must have cross pollinated. That's the only explanation that I can really think of. Both turks turban and atlantic giants are derived from cucurbita maxima and are closely related, apparently enough to cross pollinate and produce viable seeds
