We are in the wettest weather anomaly area of the entire pacific northwest. So things are wet. Which is why this fireweed (and the rest of the valley) fortunately didn't burn. Its growing in charred stumps from the last time this area burned a few years ago. Aptly named plant its habitat is burned areas.
