Hi, I noticed something really weird on my field pumpkins. So there's like this browning. It starts on the edge of the leaves. It just turns yellow, progresses inward. And when the yellow is almost reached the middle, then the perimeter starts turning brown. The brown progresses inward, so does the yellow. Then just before the brown reaches the middle, then the leaf basically curls up. Then the brown reaches the middle and the leaf just collapses. I don't know what it is. I have two raised beds. They're both 30 square feet, 10 inches high. Underneath is like a clayish gravel soil. They're 25 feet away from trees, six feet away from the road, and get seven hours of sunlight daily. Everything's grow well there, peppers, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, zucchinis, even cucumbers, which I find weird because cucumbers and zucchinis are also curcubit. But the pumpkins, they just always come down to go down to that. Like, last year I lost giant pumpkin to it. This year I'm losing field pumpkins to it. All the new growth looks healthy and green, which I find real weird. It slowly progresses down the main vine and takes the secondaries with it. The weird thing is the secondaries go down the exact same way, except there's no yellowing. Also, I don't know if it's related or not, but the stem of the pumpkins just never grow beyond two centimeters in diameter. Maybe it's unrelated, but that's just another observation. This year it started slightly earlier than last year, and it progresses down the main vine about the same speed as the main vine grows. The secondaries just essentially stopped growing. Also, there's poor fruit set and the fruits barely grow for some reason. And maybe this is also unrelated, but I got like 10-lobed flowers last year, which I found really weird. So that's it. Do you have any idea what it is? I amend with 60 l compost a year last fact is that the stump area of the vine was hollow outside was brown and cracked but the plant continued to put on 16 in/week through October but never grew faster even in summer. Okay one more fact, last year there was a heat wave but I watered the temps were 33-38 in the day 16-19 in the night
