Yesterday I was making my morning rounds at the patch and my heart stopped, and then my heartbeat rapidly increased when I discovered these white spots on a few leaves on my 2469 Ford plant. It is growing outside underneath shade cloth. It sure seems to be too early for powdery mildew. Considering that this plant is outside it certainly is growing in less humid conditions than my greenhouse plants, so it should be less likely to have powdery mildew at this time. It took me an hour or so to figure out what it was. What do you think it is? The first person with a correct diagnosis will win a set of my 2026 seeds!
